Normandy Shores

Normandy Shores

A SECLUDED ISLAND ON BISCAYNE BAY

Normandy Shores is the northern part of Normandy Isle: a two-island residential community connected to Miami Beach via the 71st street. Normandy Shores is a guard-gated community, with public access at Biarritz Road and a residents-only entry and exit way off of North Shore Drive.

In 1926, Henri Levy, owner of a successful chain of silent film theaters, moved to Miami Beach from Ohio and took the once marshy land, and dredged it for 2 continuous years to make Normandy Isle. In honor of Levy’s heritage, streets were named after french cities, such as Marseille and Calais Drive.

Normandy Shores on BiscAYNE BAY

In the heart of the island you can find an 18-hole golf course and a tennis court surrounded by residential properties. The properties are a mix of non-waterfront and waterfront homes on Biscayne Bay and the Normandy waterway, the canal that separates Normandy Shores from Normandy Isles.
