A shopping destination
Miami Design District was founded 20 years ago by Craig Robins, who began acquiring buildings and attracting brands, creators, and restaurants in the hopes of transforming the area into an active, culturally rich community. It is now home to more than 120 galleries and luxury shops—in 2011, even LVMH recognized the unique potential of the Design District.
Today, Miami Design District is a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with lots of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. Here, you can find the storefronts of the world’s top luxury brands such as Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Prada, and many more. You can also find the ultimate in fine dining—the neighborhood is home to L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink, and Le Jardinier.
