Inside Arte Surfside Residences

Designed with a Mediterranean lifestyle in mind

Located in the quiet neighborhood of Surfside in Miami Beach, Arte is inspired by classic European apartments of the 1920s and ’30s. Its signature material—a warm, richly veined Roman travertine—is used on both the exterior and interior of the residences. “Travertine is a very special stone with an unparalleled historic importance as the building material of choice in ancient Rome,” Citterio says. “It has a beautiful color and a very pronounced layering compared with other types of limestone.” Floor-to-ceiling glass windows welcome in the natural light  and offer stunning views of the ocean and Miami skyline. Enjoy the fresh, clean air or a meal outdoors on your expansive terrace with Brazilian ipe wood decking. Inside, you will find European white oak flooring, brushed bronze accents, and a kitchen with marble countertops and a suite of Gaggenau appliances. Enjoy the sunset each evening as it comes through the large windows of the master bedroom. The residence offers 5-star amenities including direct beach access, a beachside swimming pool with cabanas, private rooftop tennis court, fitness center, spa, yoga studio, 24/7 security, and concierge.

Inside Unit 802 at Arte Surfside

Unit 802 is a 3-bed, 3.5-bath apartment with an interior of 3,126 sq ft and two terraces totaling 750 sq ft. Private elevator entry takes you to the heart of the unit—the kitchen—which has custom Poliform cenere oak cabinetry with brushed bronze lacquer and glass detailing, a cantilevered cenere oak breakfast table, and honed white Byron marble countertops, backsplash, and island. Enjoy a suit of Gaggenau appliances, including a gas cooktop, oven, warming drawers and speed oven, integrated refrigerator and freezer, wine cooler, and integrated dishwasher. The kitchen opens to the living room from which you can access the large terrace with its ocean view. Back inside the apartment, a corridor leads you to the second and the third bedrooms, each with a closet and private bathroom (one with a bathtub and the other with shower). Near the third bedroom is the laundry room with washer and dryer and the powder room. At the end of the corridor is the master bedroom, where the terrace looks out onto the Miami skyline. The room offers a walk-in closet and a master bathroom with two toilet rooms, two showers, and a bath. The master bathroom has roman travertine slab floors and walls with bamboo finishes, a custom oak vanity with honed white Byron marble countertops and brushed bronze accents, as well as a sculptural Roman travertine soaking tub.
