One of the oldest cities in South Florida

Founded by George Merrick in 1925, Coral Gables is the most upscale suburb of Miami and is home to the best schools in the district, including the University of Miami. Old meets new in this city with both the historic Biltmore Hotel and the newly developed Miracle Mile only steps away from each other. Coral Gables hosts some of the finest shopping and dining in the city, making it one of the most sought-after places in Miami. The real estate market in Coral Gables is in good shape — indeed, luxury homes have seen a price increase of 25% compared to last year. The number of closed sales has increased, too, with 23 sales (15 in 2019); however, we observed a listing discount of 19.3%, so as an investor you can likely negotiate a better deal. As for condos, prices have decreased 30% compared to 2019. It’s a good time for buyers to invest in a condo in Coral Gables before the market surges.
