A Luxury Shopping Neighborhood

Everyone in Miami looking for luxury boutiques or home décor knows where to go:  the Design District!  Stroll through 120 luxury shops like Christian Louboutin, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Hermès; art galleries; or top restaurants like L’atelier de Joël Robuchon or Michael's Genuine Food & Drink.

The history of the Design District began 20 years ago with Craig Robins, who recognized the potential of this neighborhood and bought some buildings. His goal was to reinvigorate a forgotten part of Miami, transforming it into a unique creative community through exceptional architecture, design and experiences. With its vibrant community, the Design District began to attract designer brands, important art collections and unique dining experiences. In 2011, Robins and his partner L Real Estate encouraged the famous luxury brand LVMH to take part in this innovative program and to recognize the potential of this neighborhood. And what a success!  Miami Design District continues to grow and evolve. Some residences are already finished in the neighborhood such as Quadro Residences. A boutique hotel and new residences are even planned.
