Why Buy a Villa in Golden Beach?

Golden Beach is located north of Sunny Isles and south of Hallandale, measuring only one mile long from north to south and four blocks wide from east to west. This quiet, upscale neighborhood is surrounded by the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, and it is the only area in Miami where you can find single-family villas directly on the beach.

A chic village ambiance

The city’s ban on the construction of any new high-rise buildings gives Golden Beach a village feel. The town was incorporated in 1929 and is among the oldest municipalities in Miami-Dade County. This quiet community consists of 364 homes that are mostly located on the Intracoastal or directly on the Atlantic Ocean. According to Realtor.com, the real estate market increases year to year. Indeed, in November 2020, the median list price increased by 11.4% compared to last year, with a median sales price of $3.9 million—but as of now, the market favors buyers because the supply of homes is greater than the demand. Golden Beach is a good place to live or invest close to well-rated schools, grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach.

Where to buy in Golden Beach

- Ocean Boulevard: Ocean Boulevard is the main street that traverses Golden Beach. Here you can find properties with direct Atlantic Ocean views and beach access.

- South / Central / North Islands: These three little islands are home to around 30 waterfront villas apiece in gated communities close to the main street, Ocean Boulevard.

- Golden Beach Drive: This street is just behind Ocean Boulevard and along the three islands. Here you can find properties with or without waterfront. The street is quiet and close to a few parks.
