Midtown

Fifteen years ago, Midtown was full of warehouses whose low rents mostly attracted artists. But with the establishment of a number of art galleries and, in 2005, the creation of the Midtown Miami mall, developers’ interest in this neighborhood grew. The area has continued to expand since then and is now home to many shops and restaurants, most notably the Shops at Midtown, an outdoor shopping area designed to mimic New York’s SoHo neighborhood. 

The buildings in central Midtown were all built after 2005, and many offer panoramic views of Downtown Miami, Biscayne Bay, and Miami Beach. The real estate market here is increasing, with prices rising every month.
