Miami Beach, exoticism at its peak
A long stretch of sand, colorful streets full of Tropical Art Deco inspiration, a diverse crowd of people, wooden shacks lining turquoise waters…Miami Beach offers an exotic atmosphere and a true break and contrast from Downtown Miami’s urban atmosphere.
What to do in Miami Beach
South Beach’s streets are lined with the highest concentration of Art Deco architecture in the world and are probably Miami Beach’s most visited. A wide array of bright and pastel colors mingle and create a very diverse architectural landscape. To reside in one of these Art Deco icons is to own a piece of South Beach luxury real estate.
Located along the ocean, between Washington Avenue and Lummus Park, Ocean Drive is the most legendary avenue in Miami and maybe in the world. It is a succession of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, chic shops, nightclubs and trendy bars that offer high-end service and cater day and night to the needs of Miami Beach’s clientele.
A bit more informal and mainstream, Lincoln Road, a pedestrian street perpendicular to the beach, welcomes tourists to enjoy its restaurants and shopping options.
Miami Beach’s beaches
Miami Beach’s name is pretty self-explanatory: the peninsula is comprised almost exclusively of beaches. The 15 white sand beaches all face the Atlantic Ocean. Most of them are public, while some are private and accessible from the luxury hotels located on the water. Exclusive Sunset Islands’ luxury real estate offers private views of the Atlantic.
